Procedure for transferring hosting

1) Procedure data backing up from the previous host
  1. Procedure data backing up from the previous host
  2. If the data base MySQL has been utilized in the website, the data have to be exported using phpMyAdmin program (in server)
  3. If phpMyAdmin program cannot be used to export the data because of too large database, contract HostAdmin (keeper of the previous host) to dump the database out for you
  4. If e-mails which have been stored in the previous host are needed to download for storing, Microsoft Outlook or other e-mail client programs have to be used. The example of setup program Outlook procedure is provided at the page ”manual for outlook setup for window server”, “manual for outlook setup for linux server”. The detail of setting might be slightly difference. Please inquire about outlook program setup from the previous service person.

2) Procedure for uploading the data to store in IC-MyHost.com host
  1. 1. Utilize WsFTP program to upload the data that have been backed up from website and store in our IC-My Host.Com host. Procedure for uploading is provided in the page "manual of WsFTP-for window server " , "manual of WsFTP-for linux server "
  2. If database MySQL is used in your website, MySQL in Admin Control Panel has to be added. The method of adding MySQL is presented in "manual of database building for linux server "
  3. Import the database using PHPMyAdmin program (on server) when MySQL has been added.
  4. Email User in Admin Control Panel has to be added before using e-mail if needed. The procedure for MySQL adding is given at "manual of Email User building for windows server " , "manual of Email User building for linux server " ,
3) Procedure of DNS correction of domain
  • DNS data of domain name has to be corrected to be able to use the website. The server of IC-MyHost.com has to be pointed using DNS. The DNS will be informed after the registration to use IC-MyHost.com and money transferring have been made.
